Andrew Muir, Chairman of The Good Guys, last night proudly accepted the 2012 Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Award on behalf of the electrical retailer after they took out the top gong for the second running.

The awards, presented by Roy Morgan Research CEO Michelle Levine, provide recognition of each industry’s most exceptional company for customer satisfaction, as judged by 22,000 business decision makers and 50,000 consumers throughout Australia.

The Good Guys, with a footprint of 97 stores across Australia, was awarded the Electrical Store of the Year for 2012, outperforming Harvey Norman, Betta Electrical and Retravision for a consecutive year.

Mr Muir took the opportunity to reiterate the imperative role customer satisfaction plays in the retail environment.

“Customer service is at the core of everything we do at The Good Guys. To win this award for the second year running means a great deal to us and we are thrilled to have once again taken out the top spot,” said Andrew.

Mr Muir was joined by team members from The Good Guys stores across Australia, identified by customers and The Good Guys Facebook community for their exceptional customer service.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the team with me here tonight and all our Good Guys across the country for their hard work and commitment to delighting every customer. It is a privilege to work with the industry’s best,” he said.

The Good Guys is also committed to doing good, providing more than low prices and friendly and knowledgeable customer service. The company supports a range of not-for-profit organisations, including Jamie Oliver’s Ministry of Food Australia, to improve the vitality and health of the communities where customers and employees work and live.
